A lot of dental problems start developing at a young age. The sooner these problems are diagnosed, the more effective potential treatments become. Issues such as overbites, cross bites, crowding and underbites all respond to treatment more readily in young children than they do in adults. Preventative dental care in the form of a strict schedule of check-ups identifies these problems and improves the overall dental well-being of children.
